The Company

Aegon is a Dutch company from The Hague that today is one of the big financial groups in the world. With companies like Transamerica in the USA, GoBear in Asia, and other Aegon brand companies in Europe, India, Brasil and more, the group have business in many different fields of the financial industry.

The Area

With the digital disruption of the financial industry at the door, Aegon created a Center of Excellence for Digital in its headquarters in The Hague to spread the Digital culture through the group.

Created in 2016, the area hosted specialists in 4 different pillars, Digital Marketing, Digital Analytics, Dev Ops, and Business Development and helped Aegon companies in Europe and Asia to faster develop its digital capabilities.

The Experience

As part of the Center of Excellence for Digital, my role is to help Aegon’s business units develop digital marketing teams and practices to accelerate the company global digital transformation.

I have an international experience working with teams from Europe, Asia, Brazil, and the US on implementing unified solutions, managing projects, and support best practices sharing amount the countries. My colleagues and I also support countries units individually to improve media spending, SEO strategies, CRO experiments, among other activities.
